A Right Royal Knees-Up!
Brooklands celebrated the much hyped Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yesterday with a special assembly for P4-P7 as well as classroom and outdoor fun for P1 to P3!
Mr Henry was King Henry IX for the day (we think he has an authority complex) and his P4 class were the Royal Wedding guests in suits, dresses, crowns and tiaras! Surprise guests were retired 'Queens' Mrs Glover and Miss Anderson as well as Padre McCartney! The fun assembly contained singing, dancing, dress-making and many laughs. Some P4s gave everyone the lowdown on exactly who was getting married and what to expect on the big day. Thanks to P7S for their magnificent opening act 'One Big Party' and to all the staff for being good sports at the hands of King Henry's many gags and surprises!
