Carroll Diagrams have 4 places to read information from.

You need to look horizontally (across) and vertically (up and down).

The chart below shows shapes of different colours.

Horizontal Bar Charts have bars going across.

These bars show a value for a given situation.

The chart below shows the number of people who like different fruits.
