Admissions criteria: Nursery

The Education Authority website https://www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions/pre-school-admissions-guide provides the information you will need to apply for a Nursery place.

 

The document below details the admission criteria for Brooklands Nursery School.

  • The Education Authority provide online applications for September 2026 places.
  • An online portal (EA Connect) will open at 12noon on Wednesday 7th January 2026 where parents will list their preference of schools for which they wish to apply.  The online portal closes on Wednesday 21st January at 12noon.
  • Parents/carers will receive application outcomes via email (where one is held) or by letter on Monday 23rd March.
  • You will receive further details about your child's placement in May 2026 and parents will be invited to an induction meeting in June.
  • You and your child will be invited into school ahead of your child commencing Nursery to meet their teacher and classmates.
