A decorated, bunting-covered building and grounds, secret conversations with family, friends and former colleagues, photos and memorable stories from the past, PLUS hundreds of pupils, staff and parents preparing tartan-themed outfits and accessories .... all right under the nose of our principal! 👏🏻

Mrs Smart's school birthday party yesterday was true chaos and lots of fun - with the biggest surprise being the arrival of her parents all the way from Inverness! It was lovely to welcome former principals Mr Armstrong and Mr McCartney too, as well as retired colleagues Mrs Glover, Mrs Shields and Mrs Garrett🤩

The whole school (and Nursery included!) enjoyed traditional music and dance from Mrs Smart's homeland; thanks to Jorja and Joel for the Highland Fling, and to Matthew for piping us through the Principal's Parade (which hopefully made up for the birthday lady having missed the Conga at Christmas due to illness!) 🏴󠁧
