Bye bye Book Week 2022!
Well...that was quite a week! Our celebration of the wonderful world of reading was a fantastic success, with 5 days of lively lessons linked to books, authors, characters and illustrations!
Our pupils enjoyed some very special Story Swaps with other classes, braved the limelight to read aloud with 'Extreme Expression' and partied in style together for World Book Day! We also had 4 fab teachers who read an 'After School Story' live on Instagram (thank you Miss Steele, Mr Devlin, Mrs McNirlan and Mrs Gordon!) as well as a Surprise Storyteller for P2McN...the Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh, Alderman Stephen Martin!
Thank you to all the teachers for their hard work in making it such a memorable week for our boys and girls, and to our classroom assistants for their faithful support too!
Next up...another HUGE special guest linked to Literacy in April...who could it be???
