It's time to warm-up our Maths brains!  Try your very best to do these questions in your head.

Main activity

Today we are going to revise short division questions.   

Log In to EducationCity and open the "P6 Home Learning wb 4th January 2021" Homework City.  "The Great Divide" Learn Screen will help you to revise how to set out these dividing questions.

Then choose one of the three challenges below.

In the Low Level challenge, you are dividing by 2, 3, 4 or 5.  You can use a copy of your division facts to help you if you need it.

In the Medium Level challenge, you are dividing by all the numbers from 2 - 9.  Again, you can use a copy of your division facts to help you but try to do as much as you can without any extra help.

In the High Level challenge, you are also dividing by all the numbers from 2 - 9 and the numbers which you are dividing are larger.  If you choose this level, try to complete all of the questions without using a copy of your division facts!

At the bottom of each page, we would like you to make up your own division questions!  Ask an adult to work out the answers and then it's your chance to be the teacher and mark their work!
