Pupil Parliament visit to Stormont!
Members of our Pupil Parliament, staff & Peanut braved the elements this week to visit Stormont and the Northern Ireland Assembly as part of UK Parliament Week.
Thanks to East Belfast MLA David Brooks for his help in securing the visit as well as an extensive tour of Parliament Buildings. Pupils were even able to take their seats in the Assembly Chamber and debate the pros and cons of wearing a school uniform! (Not quite sure if there was a winner..)
It was wonderful for the P7s to learn the history and secrets of such an iconic Northern Irish building, somewhere many might pass in a car or glider at least once a week! 😀
