P7 Mr Gaston

Thanks for visiting.

There are twenty-five wonderful pupils along with two classroom assistants (Mrs Teer and Mrs Price)

Each day is full of fun, practical activities and I hope to give you a tiny glimpse into what it's like inside our classroom.

We visited the Youth Centre for our first session with Robert, the youth leader.

Here's a group photo on 'Odd Socks Day'. Pupils recognised that human beings have differences and these can be something to celebrate.

The P7s have been working brilliantly on their animation skills. We have used Greenscreening techniques and focused on two apps-iMotion and Stop Motion Studio. We've also used Just2Easy's animation tools.

The P7s have used Microbits to code robots as well as using these little mini-computers to do lots more (such as building alarm systems, science experiments and machine learning).

The DeLorean arrived in the playground (as part of Brooklands' 40th year anniversary celebrations). The pupils enjoyed getting to have a look at this unusual but cool car!
