It's Friday 12th February and time for numberwork!
Today we are going to be looking at different types of shapes that we already know about.
Now boys and girls, remember there are 2 different types of shapes that we know!
Can you remember what they are?
That's right!! WE HAVE 2D SHAPES AND 3D SHAPES.
Have you remembered that 2D shapes have sides and corners and are completely flat? AND
3D shapes have faces, edges and vertices and are 3 dimensional.
Go through the power point via the link below. It will show a variety of shapes and remind you of their properties.
Also, boys and girls, a fun activity would be to see how many of the shapes that you can spot around your house or garden - you will be surprised at how many you can find?
After you have looked at the power point, choose which challenge that you would like to complete today.
