It's Tuesday 23rd February and time for some exciting number work.
Today, we are going to be thinking about number names.
Now when we are writing our numbers are working out a problem, we usually write our numbers like this
1 2 3 4 5 …………..
P3s, these are called NUMERALS or DIGITS.
A good way to remember this word is to think of the "digital clock" because that is when we tell the time in numbers and not words.
So, each digit or number has a name (written in words).
Today you are going to be matching number names to the correct digit.
There is a number name poster to help you and make sure you watch the explanation videos ad the power point before attempting today's task.
