Good morning P3s!!
Time for numeracy this morning with some more of those number families so make sure you watch the video and listen very carefully!
REMEMBER
Each set of 3 numbers together make a "number family" and together they can make 4 numbers facts! (2 addition facts and 2 subtraction facts)
REMEMBER when making an addition fact the biggest number always comes at the end and when making a subtraction fact the biggest number always comes at the end!
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE FOR YOU!
8 2 10
. 8 + 2 = 10
. 2 + 8 = 10
. 10 - 2 = 8
. 10 - 8 = 2
You will find it easier if you try to make the 2 addition facts first and then the 2 subtraction facts!
REMEMBER you can only use the numbers shown in each box.
