Harvest at Brooklands!
On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th October we held our annual Harvest celebrations. Donna from St Mary's was our guest speaker and she reminded us about the importance of saying Thank You to God for everything that He has given us and to our families, friends and everyone around us for everything that they do to look after us.
In our P4-P7 assembly, our senior choir gave their first performance of the year, singing "Thank Your Lucky Stars". We also heard from four children from P4H who had written their own Harvest prayers and congratulated those children who had full attendance last year.
Thank you to all the families who donated items for the food bank - we received an amazing 69.8kg worth of donations! The organisers of the local food bank are very appreciative of your generosity.
