P6 classes enjoy STEM workshops!

Today our P6 classes welcomed Connor from Sentinus, a local company which aims to inspire the next generation to develop their skills in the STEM subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

 

Connor delivered two excellent workshops based on renewable energy and our P6s had the opportunity to build their own wind turbines and also a structure to support a solar panel.  We had a great time working in teams to complete each challenge and our P6s were rightly proud of their finished structures.

 

Thank you to Connor and all the team at Sentinus for delivering such an inspiring event!
