Doesn't time fly? 2019 is well under way and Brooklands is as busy as ever!
The P7s have returned from another very successful ski trip to Bulgaria - thanks to Mrs Bell, Mrs Massey and Mrs Smart for all their hard work!
The P5s enjoyed a visit from the Fire Brigade - just a social call, no emergencies! The P6s are preparing for the Six Nations (!) with a weekly visit from a rugby coach and the P4s have said 'Hola' to a new after-school Spanish club led by Mrs Graham and Miss Duggan. Other clubs are all full up too - football, cross country, hockey, table tennis, art and craft & Scripture Union - and continue as directed by individual teachers.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Book Fair in school recently - it was wonderful to see it so busy after school each day.
Winter assessments/exams in some year groups are expected in the coming weeks, just in time for Parent Interviews, which will take place from Monday 11th February to Thursday 14th February. (School ends at 1pm on each of these days.)
Friday 15th February will be a half day with school ending at 12noon (no dinners) followed by half term holidays from Monday 18th February to Friday 22nd February inclusive.
Look out for some special events in the coming weeks and months as we continue to seek your support for school funds and for charitable causes too!
