Welcome to P7 Henry!
Our base is Room 21 and there are 28 personalities in our class.
Our classroom assistants are Mrs Wilson and Mrs Campbell.
We have 'hit the ground running' in P7, covering a variety of key topics in Numeracy and Literacy. We work together in Reciprocal Reading groups every Friday to discuss, summarise and read aloud a book or novel we have been reading all week.
We have been discussing 'eco' issues quite a bit; learning a lot about global warming and climate change. We have been gripped by David Walliams 'Grandpa's Great Escape' as our class novel and always enjoy a laugh, a joke and a chuckle when we can!
We are focussing very much on self-management and improving our organisation in preparation for the transition to secondary school next year.
PE is on Tuesday afternoons; ICT time on Thursdays and Golden Time after lunch on Fridays.
Our class has a wonderful mix of talent, personality, good humour and skilful individuals who attend Senior Choir, Drumming lessons, Drama club, Miniversity and AQE Club.
