Farm – Dairy farming
Some farms grow crops and some farms produce milk. Today we are learning about dairy farming.
You will need the resources_dairy farming pp and dairy farming activity
Have you ever wondered how milk gets from a cow to our fridge? Read the Dairy Farming power point to find out more about dairy farming.
Now think about the food products we get from milk eg cheese. Can you draw and label the dairy products made from milk? The resource dairy farming activity will help you.
Draw the dairy foods or if you have a printer, print the activity page and draw the dairy products inside the cow. |

Reading Log on to your Bug Club account. Choose a book. Who is the author of your book? Does your book have an illustrator? Who?
Literacy Scavenger Hunt – today we are going to have some fun with a Book Scavenger Hunt!
You will need the resource literacy scavenger hunt.
Have a look on your bookshelf or book box and see if you can find any of the books on the list eg a book with an animal character, a book with a funny title, a book with rhyming words. |

Oral counting – count forwards and clap from 1 to 100.
You will need the resource balance sums or box sums, choose your level P3!

Farm – Cow Parade Art
Today we are learning to be creative.
The Cow Parade is an international art exhibit. Fibreglass cows are decorated by artists and have been put on display in various cities around the world.
The resource cow parade photos has some pictures for you to look at.
Imagine if we had a Cow Parade in Brooklands! We could fill the playground with our artwork!
Today you are going to draw and design you own cow. What colours will you use? What design will you make? Will it be a pattern or a picture?
