Homophones

Homophones are words that sound the same, but have different meanings and are spelt differently. For example, aloud and allowed or stationery and stationary.

You will find examples of both common and less familiar homophones.

So, you may have to use your dictionary to check the meanings.

We have also given you a blank table, where you can add your own examples.

Please note that an extra 'mild' activity has been added
