This week we will be exploring the maths topic Shape. Today we will start with 2D Shapes.
Before you do the 2D worksheets you should look at the 2D Shape Word Mat Poster below- this poster will have an image of all the 2D shapes you need to know.
One word you will see many times is the word ‘vertices’. Vertices are simply corners- eg a Square has 4 vertices, a Triangle has 3 vertices and a Circle has none.
