Speaking and Listening

Not all English lessons need to be about pen and paper.

Today's task is to read your book aloud using your most expressive voice.

Think about the different characters and what they might sound like.

Practise by recording yourself and watching it back.

Take PRIDE in your work.

FaceTime a grandparents, other relatives or family friends.

Perform to family members.

Send your teacher a video.

Perform it for Extreme Expression. (There's still time to enter)

If you're feeling a little shy its important to still have a go but maybe you could read to a younger sibling, your family pet or a stuffed toy.

Perhaps you could share the reading with an adult at home?

You don't have to read the whole book aloud, you can choose your favourite parts and read just those.
