Mental Maths
For the next few weeks we are going to spend a day on each times table.
This should take 10-15mins a day and might look like singing songs, playing times table games, an adult testing you, repeating the multiples over etc.
Some children might find a times table they struggle on, please feel free to keep them on that times table for as long as they need.
Children should be able to answer times tables questions out of order in 5 seconds.
Some children may be fluent in their times tables up to 12x12. If this is your child please feel free to just give them a mixture of questions to ensure they retain this vital skill, you could even start on some division facts linked to the times tables.
