Book week!

This week is book week so we have some work and activities to help us celebrate it! We hope you have fun.

There is a special David Walliams Assembly tomorrow but if you want to attend please make sure you register online at https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/ before hand.

Try writing the sentence; This is my bear.

There are two levels of this work.  One level for copying over and under writing and the other for trying to write the sentence yourself with some tricky words added onto the page to help you.

You can either print out whichever level you think you would like to try or an adult can write it out for you to copy.

See if you can draw a picture of your favourite teddy bear too.

Can you print out or make a bus with ten people.  Practise moving the people around the ten frame inside the bus and see what different numbers you can make. * Adults please remember we start in the top left hand corner and work across the frame. *

Art

As it's book week this week, we would love for you to go and find your favourite book and draw a picture from it.

It might be your favourite character from a book or you could copy one of the pictures showing something that happened in the book.  Don't forget to tell the adult in your house why it is your favourite?  Maybe you could even read the book while you are looking at it too?
