Linguistic phonics - "s" sound

It's Friday so it's dictation day!  Download the dictation page for your group and then ask an adult to read out the sentences on the answer page.  As they read out each sentence (at least two or three times please), fill in the missing words.  Good luck!

Main activity

Today's main activity is split into two parts.

For your first activity, log in to EducationCity https://go.educationcity.com/, find this week's homework folder and open the "McTwist and Shout" activity.

Read through the information about the history of skateboarding and then answer the questions to the best of your ability. 

Don't forget to click on the "Book" link which will take you back to the text to find your answer.  No guessing please!

For your second activity, download the "Language - words beginning with B - all levels 22-1-21" activity and work through each section.  In section A, for each clue, can you think of a word beginning with the letter "B"?  Good luck!  In section B, unjumble the letters to create words associated with sports and then find your answers in the wordsearch.
