Phonics
This week we are looking at the "l" sound (see Tuesday's Literacy page). For today's activity, practise spelling the more difficult words from your "Words for Sorting" page ahead of tomorrow's dictation.
Don't forget to log in to BugClub to do your daily reading please! If you can't remember your log-in details, please email your teacher.
For some questions, you'll need to use a dictionary. If you haven't got a dictionary at home, use an online dictionary such as Oxford Learner's Dictionaries https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/
Simply type the word you are looking at (e.g. habitat) into the search bar to find the definition.
The Polar Bear - higher level task
Watch the National Geographic video first to see polar bears in their natural habitat and then watch the video below where Mrs Bell reads through today's comprehension passage with you and we take a look at today's activities.
The Giraffe - lower level task
Watch the National Geographic video first to see giraffes in their natural habitat and then watch the video below where Mr Coetzee reads through today's comprehension passage with you and we take a look at today's activities.
Time for some fun!
