PAPERCLIP MAGIC - WELL ACTUALLY IT IS SCIENCE!!!

How about we do some magic today as part of our afternoon learning?!!! You all know Mr Massey is wonderful at magic and has so many great tricks that he can do and no-one knows how he does it!!! We might get a video up of one of his amazing magic shows one of these days if you all email him, or Mr Armstrong, begging him to show you his Houdini-esque skills!

Anyway, back to today's lesson! It's science really! The Classey one is going to show you how to do some magic and then you have to replicate it!!! Well, he is going to show you how to do part of it and then you have to work out the rest!!! There will be a link down below offering you a little bit of a clue!

YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PAPER-CLIP FLOAT!!!! 

Click on the link about the 'insect' - this will hopefully help you to solve the science / magic problem that has been set for you! When you are able to do it ask someone to video you as proof of your success but don't get any electronic equipment wet or your Mum will have guts for garters!!!

Can you find out anything else about the insect that 'floats' on water? How does it do it! How is this miracle possible?!!! Do you know of any other insects or animals that seem to defy belief?!
