Past Tense

Remember when things happen in the past, we need to use the past tense of a verb.

Some verbs do not follow the rules and they change completely in the past tense.

I can draw a picture.                            Yesterday I drew a picture.

break -                        wear -

fall -                             fly -

Try to use each one in a sentence.

Writing a Postcard

Can you remember our programme about Amy Johnson and how she flew to Australia? 

Imagine you are Amy arriving in Australia and are writing a postcard to send home to your family.  Tell them about the things that happened on your dangerous journey and how you felt.
