WOW! What an amazing response from the parents and pupils of Brooklands Primary School yesterday to the Afternoon Tea Partyin support of Macmillan! Hundreds flocked to our Dining Hall where our brilliant staff team served tea, coffee, juice and buns galore, all in support of a worthwhile cause.
THANK YOU to everyone who came along, enjoyed the afternoon and donated!
THANK YOU to everyone who baked or bought buns, cakes or biscuits for the big event!
THANK YOU to Mrs Moore and Mrs Freeburn for co-ordinating everything in the dining hall!
and THANK YOU to Asda Dundonald for their support and to Mrs. Sharon McBratney for her help in the kitchen!
We don't have a total yet as we are planning a BUN SALE in school for the pupils next Wednesday (1st October) to sell off the amazing and generous supply of buns we have left over!

To start the new school year's charity work we are doing something very different!
Brooklands will be hosting its very own AFTERNOON TEA PARTY in the Dining Hall on Thursday 25th September from 2pm to 3.15pm. We are supporting the Macmillan cancer charity with this event.
Pick up your P1, P2, P3 child and come round to the Dining Hall (using the front door please) and enjoy a tea, coffee and a bun and support Macmillan with a donation as you leave.
If your child is in P4 upwards, come round with them to the Dining Hall after school ends at 2.45 and stay a while for a cuppa and something sweet to eat! (We finish serving by 3.15pm)
Your support is VITAL - please invite and remind all parents, families and friends of the school to come along to this event.
We are asking please for a minimum donation of £1.00 per tea or coffee drinker!
Let's make this special event a HUGE success with the support of staff, pupils and parents of Brooklands Primary School.
We look forward to seeing you for afternoon tea and coffee on Thursday 25th September!
