  • Primary 1 and Nursery admissions

    The Education Authority will be issuing letters to parents / guardians on behalf of schools / playgroups to advise on the outcome of their child’s pre-school / primary one application. You should expect to receive your letter on Wednesday 29th April 2020.

     

    If you do not receive your letter due to any potential delays in the postal network, the EA will be opening their Citizen Portal (accessible via their website) on Wednesday 29th April. Parents / guardians who had applied online in January 2020 can log in and obtain information relating to their child’s pre-school / primary one application.

     

    To accept your P1 or Nursery place at Brooklands Primary School, please email us and don't forget to include your child's full name, address and date of birth.

  • Safer Schools app now available to download

    The Department of Education Northern Ireland (DENI) has partnered with INEQE Safeguarding Group to provide the award-winning Safer Schools App to support parents and carers to keep children in their care safer online. 

     

    The “Safer Schools” app provides parents and carers with access to information on the popular social media platforms used by your children and their friends. You are also provided with an insight on critical issues such as bullying, sexting and gaming and are given easy to follow advice on how you can make your home and the devices you give your children safer. 

     

    Search for ‘Safer Schools’ in the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store.  Once you have downloaded the app, scan the appropriate QR code below to log in.
