Welcome to our News section!
Anyone ready for a lie-down yet?
December has been at its absolute busiest at Brooklands Primary & Nursery - it's unlike anything the staff team can remember for quite some time!
Our amazing P1s, P2s & P3s entertained us with their magnificent Christmas shows, Nursery pupils had a VERY special visitor in a big red suit, Christmas Jumper Day raised hundreds for NI Hospice (THANK YOU ❤️), our Pupil Council welcome the Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh Scott Carson AND our younger pupils chilled out during their pjs and onesie day! (Plus our dazzling dinner ladies served up a delicious Christmas dinner too!)
Despite illness, ice and anything thrown at them, our pupils & staff have perservered - keeping Brooklands the warm, welcoming, wonderful place it always has been!
Monday and Tuesday are free non-uniform days; school ends promptly at 12 noon on Tuesday for the Christmas holidays. Nearly there!
Three matches played with a bit of a mixture of results! The best thing of all was seeing the brilliant attitude of the players in the final match! It was a P5 pupil who showed the best example!!!
It's our first ever Open Week at
Brooklands Primary and Nursery School from
Monday 5th to Friday 9th December!
