Dear Parents and Guardians
I wish to inform you that 2 members of our school community has tested positive for Covid-19.
I have sought the most up-to-date advice from the Public Health Agency and one class bubble in the primary school and one in the nursery school have had to close for a 10 day period.
The parents of the pupils affected have been notified.
I do appreciate the concerns of parents, pupils and the wider school community and wish to reassure you that every precaution has been taken.
Ensuring the safety of pupils and staff is my absolute priority and I will continue to monitor this situation carefully and keep you informed. Parents or guardians with any questions or concerns are welcome to contact me at jarmstrong775@c2kni.net.

We are pleased to share with you the arrangements for Wrap-Around Care which will begin at the start of the new 2021/22 academic year.

Please click here to head to the Letters page where you can download our Wrap-Around Care Initial Letter and Registration of Interest Form. Please note that, for our after-school provision, places are limited to a maximum of 30 pupils and that priority will be given to working families requiring full-time care.

Dear Parents and Guardians
I am delighted to announce that following the recruitment process for a permanent Vice Principal, run by the Education Authority, Mrs Smart has been officially appointed to the position. Mrs Smart has been teaching in Brooklands for 15 years and has been acting vice-principal for over a year.
Congratulations to Mrs Smart from everyone at Brooklands and I wish her every success in her new role.

Our new Scholastic Book Club is up and running! Go to https://schools.scholastic.co.uk/brooklands-bt16/digital-book-club to browse the latest books and order online. For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards.
Leaflets will be going home as well for you to browse through and ordered books will be delivered to school.
