  • Christmas Jumper Day

    Tue 07 Dec 2021

    Dear Parents and Carers,

This Friday is national Christmas Jumper Day.

We will take part, where the children can wear non-uniform, as we collect donations on Friday for two local charities very close to our hearts - Bandanas for the Brave and The Northern Ireland Children's Hospice.

A tub will be located at your child's classroom door where donations can be made.

Sincere thanks for all of your incredible support this year,

    The Brooklands Team

The School Football Squad will be back up and running ...  and shooting and dribbling and passing etc after the Christmas Holidays! Storm Barra has put paid to training for tomorrow! Think it might be best to wait until after Christmas - when you can all show off your new Liverpool kits!!! Don't forget ... No Man Utd kits allowed!!!! Or Everton!!! Or Chelsea!!! Or Arsenal!!! Or Man City!!! (Don't tell Mr McCartney!!!)

  • Daily Mile Santa Run!

    Wed 01 Dec 2021

This Friday, schools across Northern Ireland are taking part in The Daily Mile, Santa Run!

To promote mental and physical well-being, the children and staff of Brooklands will be taking part this Friday as a fun way to start our day.

Children will wear their school uniforms this Friday, and we would ask that they wear warm coats and comfortable shoes or trainers too.

If they wish to, the children (and staff) can decorate their hair with tinsel, a hair band, or wear a Santa hat to get into the festive spirit.

No donations are being sought, this is purely for fun and fitness this Friday!

    Many thanks, Mrs Smart
