• Christmas Jumper Day 2019!

  Brooklands Primary children and adults celebrated in style today! £425 has been raised for Bandanas For The Brave and the Shine Charity. Thank you to all who helped to raise this amazing total!

   

  We had fun in our classrooms designing our own jumpers. Mr Henry helped us step into Christmas with a Festive Assembly. Thanks for the Cracker Jokes from P5 Devlin. Well done to all of our amazing dancers!

   

  Mrs Bell organised our "Guess the Number of Sweets" jar and our raffle for a festive "Build - A - Bear". Well done to our two winners, Elisha and Ethan! Thanks to everyone who donated, as we have raised £165 for our School Fund.

   

  Well done to Mrs Graham's class for winning the Best Blinged Classroom! The children worked hard to create table cloths and designed a Christmas doorway. A log fire burning on the White Board added to the festive ambience. Thank you to Mrs Lowham for returning especially to be our Secret Judge.

   

  Teachers and Assistants have been busy bringing in items for our Christmas Hampers. Another amazing total of £158 will be going to The NI Hospice for Children.

• Ballybeen Community Carol Service

  On Sunday 15th December you are invited to join our Junior Choir at this year's Ballybeen Churches Community Carol Service in Dundonald Methodist at 3.30pm.

  This is always a lovely service for the whole family to enjoy and you will be made most welcome.

  

• Christmas jumper day this Friday!

  On Friday 13th December you can help us to raise money for Bandanas for the Brave and Shine (a charity which supports those with spina bifida) by wearing your Christmas jumper to school!  You could even bling up an ordinary jumper by adding some tinsel or decorations or, if you have an old t-shirt, why not style it yourself?

  We would ask for a minimum donation of £1 for this event.  Thank you for your continued support of our charity events!

• Join us for our Open Afternoon and Open Evening!

  On Monday 2nd December we will be holding our annual Open Day for both our Primary School and our Nursery Unit from 1.45pm to 3pm or from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

  All prospective parents will enjoy a warm welcome from our principal in the assembly hall at the start of each session.  There will then be an opportunity to tour the school and/or Nursery to see our teachers and pupils engaged in the wide range of activities on offer at Brooklands.

  Come and enjoy the warm atmosphere for which we are renowned!
