• Tonnes of buns and acres of cake at Macmillan Tea Party!

  Well, did you get enough to eat?

   

  Hundreds of parents and pupils crammed into the School Dining Hall yesterday (Thursday 24th) to support our second Macmillan Afternoon Tea Party!

  There were cakes, buns, biscuits, muffins, cupcakes and any amount of tea, coffee and juice as well!

   

  THANK YOU so much for coming along and supporting a very worthwhile cause. Every penny raised will be spent back in the Dundonald area - that is Macmillan's promise to all its fundraisers.

   

  Huge thanks to our wonderful staff team who bought, baked, brewed or brushed up - it would not have happened without your help either!

   

  We await the final total raised.... watch this space!

  

• Tea Party time at Brooklands!

  Roll up, roll up... it's the magnificent Macmillan Afternoon Tea Party at Brooklands Primary School!

   

  After raising a whopping £1000 in just one hour last year, we are hosting another fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support on Thursday 24th September at 2pm in the School Dining Hall.

   

  Come along, bring friends or family and enjoy a cuppa and a bun whilst supporting a very worthwhile charity.

  Please use the main entrance to join the Tea Party - P1 to P3 parents and families can come after school ends at 1.50pm, and then P4 to P7s and their families can join us when school ends for them at 2.45pm. We aim to wrap things up by 3.30pm at the very latest!

   

  **ATTENTION** We really need your help in supplying yummy buns and traybakes for everyone - please send in the supplies to school from Monday 21st September - home made or shop bought - everything will be used! (Check the date on bought items please!) THANK YOU in advance for your support and generosity!

  P 2 Parents, please check your child's school bag  as I have sent home letters with the days your child has been given at the Club.  If these days don't suit or your child has changed their mind about coming please let me know ASAP! Thank you.
